Mid Rivers Surgery Center provides first class healthcare to the St Peters, MO, area, with a focus in Ortho, Podiatry, & ENT surgery. We are looking for a hard-working efficient OR Nurse Circulator. We are open Monday through Friday - no weekends or holidays! We would love to have you join our team!

Job Summary

The Sterile Processing Technician cares for and maintains all surgical instrumentation and sets up supplies and instruments for surgery cases. The Materials Manager responsibilities will be performing the duties in the receiving area, ordering facility supplies and equipment, meeting and negotiating prices with sales representative, and contributing to the overall purpose and objectives for the facility.

Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED required

Computer skills, required

CRCST or CSPDT certification preferred

Six months of experience, preferred

2-3 years experience as Instrument Room Technician.

Experience with all types of sterilizers.

Knows operating room instrumentation.

Experience with managing materials.

Organized in setting up operating room instrument tray.

Understands operation of steam/ gravity sterilizer.

Understands Sterrad sterilizers.

Ability to prepare reports and keep records.

Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items is required

Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed

Must be an excellent team player and have the ability to communicate with staff, patients and physicians
