The Stock Controller will have a significant impact on our stores' stock levels and availability.

The Stock Controller will work on their initiative, fulfil the operational plan and suggest improvements to the systems.

The ideal candidate will have experience in retail, including sales, merchandising, stock room or stock management roles. Great attention to detail and strong business acumen is essential.

Responsibilities:

· Distributing stock between stores

· Monitoring stock quantities and availability

· Adjusting automatic ordering quantities

· Running warehouse orders for all the stores

· Running supplies orders for stores and warehouse

· Receiving stock deliveries and booking new inventory into the computer system according to the required standards

· Managing regular PI counts (Physical Inventory counts) in all locations remotely

· Organising and optimising stock in the warehouse

· Optimising and improving stock-related processes

· Managing stock enquiries from stores and managing special orders

· Managing repair parts orders and distribution

· Managing web sales and fulfilling web orders

· Purchasing - negotiating, agreeing on quantities and compiling orders from suppliers

· Testing second-hand inventory (phones, laptops)

· Processing and managing returns - processing faulty stock and returning it to the suppliers

· Supporting merchandising and planograms on the shop floor

· Generating stock reports

· Occasional shop floor cover - supporting and covering the retail Team

The role will be carried out predominantly from one of our locations in Limerick, but sometimes working in other locations will be required.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised, have excellent attention to detail and be self-motivated. Knowledge of the MS Office package is essential.

Salary: €10.50-€11.50 per hour
