Job Summary and Mission

Siren Retail brings the moments of customer connection to the next level by encouraging customers to interact with the Starbucks partners to deepen their understanding of the art behind sourcing, roasting and brewing rare coffees harvested around the globe.
Though our roots lie in Seattle, our search for the extraordinary takes us around the globe. It’s this restlessness that drew us to New York City, the kinetic crossroads of the world. The Greenwich Lane Reserve Bar opened February 2020 in New York City’s vibrant Greenwich Village, where one can find a variety of Starbucks Reserve whole bean coffees, each roasted daily at a Starbucks Reserve Roastery, experience different brewing methods and choose from our selection of handcrafted beverages. Greenwich Lane Reserve Bar also offers coffee and tea-inspired mixology that weaves together the skills of bartender and barista, and features Princi’s authentic Italian fare, including pastries, salads, sandwiches, desserts and artisan breads.
The Reserve store manager is a hands-on leader serving to anticipate and assess the needs of customers and enable their teams to successfully deliver the Reserve experience for partners and customers alike. They are highly innovative, have a passion for problem solving and continuous improvement through people.
As the Reserve store manager, you’ll be able to apply your past retail leadership experience to:
Grow a successful business
Drive sales leveraging your business acumen, efficiency and problem-solving skills
Create a total store implementation plan based on trend analysis and local market knowledge to achieve operational excellence and business results

Basic Qualifications
5-7 years of progressively experience in retail or restaurant management in a complex environment
Experience supervising others
Available to work flexible hours, which could include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Ability to carry 35lb on a consistent basis
Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures
Preferred Qualifications
Experience analyzing financial reports to optimize business results
Ability to manage store operations independently
Knowledge of customer service techniques
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
Team-building skills
Ability to build cohesive, collaborative teams
Portfolio management experience
Experience assessing talent & developing a talent pipeline strategy
Build diverse team of high performing partners
Outstanding skills in leadership, interpersonal communication, and partner development
Organization and planning skills- ability to plan and prioritize workload
Strong operational and problem-solving skills in a customer-service environment
Highly motivated, self-directed and results-oriented, with the proven ability to solve complex problems
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
Able to identify opportunity areas and create plans for action that control costs to optimize profits and ensure success
3-5 years Restaurant/bar management experience
Education: College degree or a closely related field may substitute for a portion of the required experience
Additional languages beneficial
21+ years of age
