Responsibilities:
Partner with business leaders as a primary interface for all people-related topics, such as driving transformation projects, organizational change, engagement, employee relations, and organizational and talent development

Enhance leadership capability through partnership and coaching, establishing credibility and sound rationale to build their full commitment to own people topics

Recognize the business goals recommend innovative solutions for people-related topics, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in strategic objectives, efficiency and of HR within the company.

Provide counsel and support to employees and managers, in order to achieve resolutions that are fair for employees and aligned with strategic objectives.

Have a hands-on approach to efficiently assess the "pulse" of the organization to diagnose engagement gaps, talent needs, retention risks, compensation patterns, etc. and use data to build recommendations based on data analyses.

Collaborate to interpret business needs and people priorities. Contribute to the design and/or integration of the full organizational plan (i.e., talent, structure, culture, process) for an assigned organization.

Use knowledge of the business to identify trends/themes, communicate findings and provide significant recommendations to leadership and HR teams. Translate data and insights into action and own the implementation of solutions.

Implement and own HR initiatives and programs, and support efforts to ensure adaptation across your business groups on items such as, inclusion & diversity, talent bench strength improvement, organizational planning, talent development, retention assessments, organizational change and talent reviews.

Guide center of expertise to meet the business needs and act as an effective leader of the HR Operating Model.

Assess leadership effectiveness and elevate manager capabilities through coaching on day-to-day management, and Team Performance Model (TPM) to improve followership, build inclusive teams and improve overall employee engagement.

Strong solutions focus and be confident working in an environment which demands strong results along with the ability to identify problems and drive appropriate solutions.

Identify needs for change and lead the implementation and adaption to new or changing structures (leadership or organizational), cultural change, or HR programs and process changes (e.g., training, talent movement) for an organization.

Participate and lead projects as an integral member of the HR community

Have a continuous improvement mentality. Use key HR business systems, metrics and people analytics to identify areas of needed improvement, and support the problem solving and execution of improvement actions

Qualifications

4+ years of experience working as a Human Resource Business Partner or a combination of Talent Management and HRP with at least 2 years’ experience driving strategic HR initiatives

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required; MBA preferred

Strong discernment and demonstrated ability to understand business goals and operations.

Demonstrated ability to support a positive work environment with careful and professional communication.

Demonstrated competence in organizational development, coaching, compensation, and organizational change.

Proven ability to establish credibility, trust, and partnerships at all levels of an organization. Be able to generate consensus across diverse parties, influence high-impact decisions, provide critical feedback, and lead difficult conversations. Will need to optimally apply purposeful solutions to tackle root cause problems and deliver breakthrough results.

Ability to independently handle multiple projects and goals

Simultaneously, while successfully balancing the achievement of short-term objectives with longer-term strategic organizational goals.

Appetite and resilience to operate in a fast-paced business environment.

Ability to learn quickly and operate in an environment with ambiguity.

Ability to analyze data and make connections across complex organizational or business concepts.

Ability to navigate between critical thinking and hands-on execution, as needed

Knowledge of employment law including but not limited to: ADA, FMLA/OFLA, and FLSA. Multistate experience or exposure preferred.

Travel: May vary between 15-20%

Everett, WA: The salary range for this position is $111,550- $207,115

This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.

Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location.
