  • Identifies new business opportunities and creates appropriate business plans
  • Identifies new market opportunities (i.e., products/services, technologies, markets)
  • Monitors organization's market share and competition
  • Use data analysis to identify trends and priorities

Accountabilities:
  • Develop and execute on strategic and operational plans for the business and drive action by collaboratively working with a network of peers in a highly matrixed organization
  • Identify ways in which we can match customer need with current and future product and packaging offerings.
  • Ensure business needs and requirements are top of mind across Intelligize’s key initiatives, technology enhancements, GTM product rollouts, etc.
  • Gain competitive insights, with data collection from the sales and marketing teams.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales, legal, operations, product/content teams and finance to ensure product information, timelines, key launch information is communicated for effective sales training, product positioning, and customer promotion
  • Compile and communicate data appropriately to provide clear insight to senior staff
  • Analyzing competitor activity to determine the best strategies for increasing market share or generating new business opportunities.
Qualifications:
  • Relevant four-year college degree preferred, with a minimum of 5 years of related data analysis and professional experience
  • Technical and professional knowledge of operating in a commercial or strategy role
  • Understanding of key business drivers in the news or legal technology market is an advantage (preferred)
  • Strong ability to translate data into insights and develop recommendations that will drive revenue and profit impact.
  • Demonstrated strong project management experience
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills required; Tableau, Salesforce, Google Analytics and Microsoft Access skills preferred
  • Ability to present complex strategic plans to both senior executives and outsourced resources and every audience in between
