About The Role
The SuccessFactors Solution Manager - Employee Central is responsible for supporting the HR business function globally on best practice use, governance and monitoring of Kerry’s HRIS application (Success Factors).
This exciting role will report into the Global HRIS Manager and will be responsible for supporting the following modules: Employee Central, Time Off Management, Payroll (ADP & ECP), Overall Platform Functionality and OpenText.
The SuccessFactors Solution Manager - Employee Central will bring their proven SuccessFactors experience and HR knowledge to actively lead projects and guide our HR business function through requirements gathering and contribute to business process improvement, change management, quality assurance, risk management and user enablement.
Through collaboration and effective project delivery this role will ensure we are extracting the full value from the SuccessFactors solution.
We are open to candidates based in Ireland and United Kingdom. Candidates will need to travel to our offices in Naas, Co. Kildare, Ireland as required.
What will I be doing?
- Lead out on Kerry’s employee central module, and drive efficiencies in our configuration to support enhanced ways of working across our global teams.
- Collaborate closely with other team members to provide a full set of functional services and technical services required to support Kerry’s global Hire to Retire processes.
- Proactively monitor and resolve any system related issues that could impact end-user experience, data integrity, or overall end-to-end system functionality.
- Willingness to cross-train across other SuccessFactors modules and other relevant employee facing products that integrate with the SAP SuccessFactors suite.
- Deliver new business solutions by executing projects from end-to-end, by participating in activities ranging from requirements gathering, gap analysis, solution design, process documentation, system configuration, test planning and execution, support for training documentation delivery and post go live support.
- Manage direct reports and work closely with a 3rd party offshore team
- Manage day-to-day Employee Central, Payroll (ADP & ECP), Time Off and OpenText system changes, including configuration and role-based permissions
- Manage the SuccessFactors release cycle, and work with the Global HRIS Manager to determine our release plan/approach

- Manage thorough testing of system changes in our lower instances (Preview/Test) and Production environments
- Ensure regular refreshes of our lower instances to mirror our Production settings as part of regular system maintenance.
- Support organisational communication and change management efforts
- Maintain update and accurate system configuration documentation
- Ensure that Kerry’s change management processes are followed
- Ongoing support of end users – understanding the end-to-end process
- Interaction with SuccessFactors Support and our Support Partners to manage issues/resolution
What do I need to be successful?
In Kerry we understand that people have very different career trajectories and experiences. In order to be successful in this role we would be looking for the right competencies and aptitudes as well as your proven track record of success in a similar role and environment.
These include:
- Previous experience of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central required; Accreditation required.
- Strong knowledge of Success Factors platform in particular EC and Time Off - Ideally have been part of previous deployments/implementations
- Knowledge of ECP & ADP Global View / Celergo an advantage
- Strong experience in complex organisational-wide problem solving, analysing, and synthesising disparate sources of data.
- Working knowledge of ServiceNow HR Service Delivery suite and the wider Success Factors suite would be a significant advantage
- Previous experience of using Assignment Pro and OpenText Extended ECM/PowerDocs system desirable.
