Job Summary
The Housing Facilities Services team with CU Boulder encourages applications for a Summer Painter! This temporary position will be responsible for painting and minor drywall repair of housing and dining facilities across campus.
Who We Are
Housing Facilities Services (HFS) is a comprehensive facility management operation that provides around-the-clock support to over 10,000 residents and 20,000 conference guests annually. Services include maintenance, repair, renovation, project management, capital construction, housekeeping, and grounds-keeping operations. HFS has approximately 190 full-time employees, as well as approximately 80 part-time and student staff, who all strive to give residents the best living experience possible.
What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
Duties include wall patching, painting, priming, and clean-up, and will be required to take care of painting and repair tools.
What You Should Know
- The shift for this position is Monday -Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm.
- This is a temporary, six-month assignment that is 100% on campus.
What We Can Offer
- The hourly pay is $25 per hour.

What We Require
- 4 years or more of painting and drywall repair experience.
- Appropriate education or successful completion of a formalized apprenticeship program will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
What You Will Need
- Previous drywall repair and painting experience
- Self-motivated with the ability to complete tasks under minimal direction.
What We Would Like You to Have
- 5 years or more of painting and drywall repair experience.
