Responsibilities
Franciscan Medical Group, a part of Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, is currently seeking a Clinic Supervisor to assist in the leadership of the Neurology and Neuro subspecialty teams! The Clinic Operations Supervisor role is responsible for the administrative oversight of 27 staff supporting 4 clinical subspecialties. The COS inspires, trains and motivates the administrative staff to meet the organizational goals for Patient Access, Patient expereince and Revenue Cycle and employee satisfaction. This position presents an opportunity for team building with an emphasis on department collaboration amoung all 4 specialties (Neurosurgery, Neurology, ENT and Audiology). This position is Monday through Friday with no nights, weekends or organizationally recognized holidays required.
Job Summary:
- Supervises the daily operations of assigned support functions (including patient experience, care team operations, appointment scheduling, registration, check-in/check-out, collections, referrals, surgery scheduling, and other administrative duties) to ensure that all activities are conducted in a timely and cost-effective manner and in accordance with professional standards, budget constraints, internal policies/standards/procedures and/or applicable legal/regulatory requirements.
- Participates in work groups/committees charged with improving patient access processes, procedures and outcomes.
- Prepares reports and provides other data related to operational performance.
- Serves as liaison with various internal departments/staff/providers in coordinating and troubleshooting various business-related issues.
- Staff supervision and development.
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and one year related work experience in the discipline that would demonstrate attainment of the requisite job knowledge/abilities; OR
- Three years’ work experience in a discipline that would demonstrate attainment of the requisite job knowledge/abilities.
Pay Range
$27.77 - $40.27 /hour
