We're looking for a Supervisor - Engineering Operations to join our Facilities Management team at Tacoma General Hospital.

Position Summary
The Supervisor of Engineering Operations is responsible for the day to day coordinating, and managing all activities of the Operating Engineers, HVAC Technicians, Maintenance Mechanics, and Engineering Technicians as a function of the Engineering Department, and for ensuring the facilities are furnished with uninterrupted utility services, preventive maintenance of buildings, equipment, and mechanical and electrical systems. Depending on assigned location, this position may also be responsible for the supervision of staff and the planning, coordinating, and overseeing of the activities of the maintenance and trades functions. This position is a front-line management position and directly supervises the work of the staff.

Minimum Requirements

• Four (4) years of experience in hospital maintenance, operations, mechanical, and electrical systems
• Previous experience and demonstrated skills in a supervisory or lead capacity

Education/Licenses/Certifications

• Associate's degree or 2 years of experience in lieu of degree will be considered
• Professional Engineering license in mechanical or electrical engineering desired
