OVERVIEW

The Supplier Quality Admin will be responsible for the supporting administration of supplier documentation to ensure compliance with FDA, GFSI and relevant global requirements and is the primary communication liaison between the company and its suppliers for matters relating to documentation. This role supports the Regulatory and New Product Development functions in conducting periodic reviews of documentation and test results and works closely with Legal to ensure the necessary non-disclosure agreements are in place to support supplier audits and approvals. The role will also be key in the transition of documents from SharePoint to the new PLM system. The role is a one-year assignment, training will be on-site, role is remote after training.


ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Obtains, reviews, updates and maintains documentation from suppliers
  • Reviews documents for completeness, accuracy and compliance with specifications and ensures resolution of any gaps
  • Uploads documents and maintains online document libraries (i.e. Sharepoint, PLM)
  • Tracks document expiration dates and proactively obtains updates
  • Provides support for the implementation of new document management software
  • Keeps manager informed of issues within assigned area of responsibility; escalates issues to appropriate parties as needed
  • Performs other duties as assigned


REQUIRED EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE

  • 0-2 years of professional experience utilizing data or document management programs (related internship experience is considered applicable)


PREFERRED EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE

  • General knowledge and understanding of document control principles and distribution systems
  • General knowledge of FDA, FSMA, FSVP, GFSI, food manufacturing and/or packaging operations
  • SAP/PLM knowledge
  • Experience working for a global company
