Our client a long-established manufacturing company in the South-East are seeking a Supply Chain Director.

You will be responsible for all aspects of the Supply Chain performance and you will be an integral part of the site management team.

This is a 6 month contract with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Your New Job

Key duties & responsibilities:

• Train, manage and develop the department team.

• Develop and roll out best-in-class supply chain management processes

• Review department performance weekly

• Manage key activities to include Demand/Supply Forecasting Planning, Purchasing, Warehouse, Distribution and Inventory Control

• Manage the production scheduling process to maximise production efficiency, volumes and maintain customer service levels

• Manage costs and meet KPI targets

• Participant in various projects through the plant

• Participate fully in Global Supply Chain Initiatives

• Ensure all activities comply with policies, standards, Health and Safety etc.

What are we looking for?

• 10-15 years Supply Chain experience

• Ideally Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management

• Proven experience of lean Implementation

• Strong knowledge of SAP and cost management

• Problem solver and customer focussed
