Job description
Responsibilities:
- Creating contracts in SFDC for all new orders
- Meeting with Sales Reps once a month to review upcoming support expirations
- Creating and updating opportunities in Salesforce
- Meeting with Sales Reps once a month to review upcoming pipeline for renewals
- Work with vendors to verify accurate renewal configurations
- Create vendor quotes
- Create customer proposals
- Request and track special pricing requests through partners
- Salesforce “done deal sheets”
- Great Plains software including the ability to prepare purchase orders, sales orders, inquiries, smart lists, Inventory Item set-up, Vendor Set-up
- Credit Apps and Resale certificates
- Working with Credit for establishing credit and extensions, when applicable
- Booking orders with vendors and updating Salesforce.com
- Creating Sales Order and transferring order to AR for invoice processing
- Updating SFDC with order information
- Working with partner/distributor on any missing or broken equipment including RMA’s
- Working with accounting on any vendor invoices received that don’t match our PO
- Support dealings with manufacturers and reseller programs
- Knowledge of partner programs
Qualifications / Education:
- 5 years experience within a VAR or direct manufacturer’s sales organization
- 5+ years in enterprise storage and networking is preferred
- Expert proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, MS Outlook and task management, Microsoft’s Great Plains and Salesforce.com
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience and training

- Strong project management skills, solid leadership abilities, organizational and analytical skills
- Ability and experience in analyzing sales information
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Demonstrated capacity for developing and understanding sales strategies and support infrastructures
- Ability to work on a variety of projects and research related challenges
