Assists surgeon by passing sterile articles, retracting tissue, counting and handling of surgical specimens; remains alert to and safeguards against patient injury from electrical/mechanical hazards while guarding asepsis.

Required Education:Minimum: High School Graduate. Graduate of a formal accredited surgical technologist training program.
Required Experience:Preferred: Two years surgical technologist experience.
Required Certification/License/Registry:Certified Surgical Technologist Certificate required.
