Job Description:
- Develops computer systems specifications that address business requirements and that fit with the company's system architecture standards.
- Establishes and documents system parameters and formats, ensures hardware and software systems compatibility and coordinates and/or modifies system parameters in terms of existing and projected computer capacity and capabilities.
- Revises existing systems and procedures to correct deficiencies and maintain more effective data handling, conversion, input/output requirements, and storage.
- Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators.
- Duties may include setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocate mass storage space.
- Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products.
- Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery.
- Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
- Required to support the NNS Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Teamcenter environment working backlog tasks and SMAX tickets for implementing enhancements/automations, resolving vulnerabilities, and supporting production issues.
- Support will include system and application administration, maintenance, and monitoring.
Equivalency:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 6 years of experience.
- Master’s Degree and 4 years of experience.
- 4 years of related exempt experience can be substituted for Bachelor’s degree.
- 8 years of non-related exempt experience can be substituted for Bachelor’s degree.
- A relevant professional certification can be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Siemens System Team Center Software Experience OR-
- Linux Server/Administration Experience
- Automation Experience
- PLM - Product Lifecycle Management
