Description of Duties:
The Systems Administrator supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:
- Provide support to the Joint Functional Component Command for Integrated Missile Defense (JFCC IMD) Customer by being a member of the JFCC DyT (Delivery team).
- Provide technical support to customers to include basic inquires, basic troubleshooting, break/fix needs and touch maintenance at Tier 1 through remote administrative tools or verbal guidance.
- Create and execute break/fix tickets for Tier 2 and Tier 3 needs.
- Be accountable for maintaining accurate inventory and stock planning.
- Be accountable for the maintenance and management of the queue of incidents requests (IRs).
- Be adaptable to new technologies, new situations, and short deadlines.
- Have the ability to lift a minimum of 35 lbs, as well as being able to, for extended periods of time, be sitting, walking, standing, or crawling under desks.

Primary duty hours fall within the hours of 0700-1600, Monday through Friday.
Shift work may be necessary, and may require occasional overtime or off shift including weekend work depending on task or event support needs.
This position will be filled at Schriever SFB, Colorado Springs, CO
This position is expected to pay $83,000 - $93,000 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
Basic Requirements:
Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: HS Diploma (or GED) and 4 years of general experience; Associate’s degree and 2 years of general experience; Bachelor’s degree and 0 years of general experience; Master’s degree and 0 years of general experience
- Must have 2 years of directly related experience in relevant business systems, operating systems, and servers and/or experience in light programming, project management of small initiatives, and troubleshooting
- Must have working experience with Microsoft Windows 10 Operating Systems
- Must have, or obtain within 6 months of start date, a DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification such as CompTIA Security+ CE or higher
- Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance
Desired Requirements:
- Have a CompTIA Security+ CE certification
- Have a CompTIA A+ Certification
- Have a CompTIA Network+ Certification
- Have experience with Microsoft Office tools
- Have experience with audio visual systems
- Have experience with Virtual Desktop Environment Support
- Have experience with Active Directory
- Have an understanding of Group Policies, DHCP, and DNS
