T&A Specialist

The T&A Analyst is part of Ireland payroll team responsible for ensuring all T&A Maintenance, Period Closes and records that are delivered are timely, accurate and compliant with Company policies and regulatory requirements.

The role will have responsibility for end to end T&A processes for all Legal entities using Core time and attendance software. Working closely with the Payroll/HR Operations/Business teams, the specialist role is an integral role in a shared service model for Johnson & Johnson, Ireland.

Responsibilities—

System Maintenance & Enhancements

  • Subjet Matter expert on all T&A coding & reporting.
  • Test and implement and roll out sytem updates.
  • Support continuous Improvement & enhancements to include testing and roll outs.
  • Create and maintain control documentation, process flows and procedures.
  • Serve as local POC for any issues or questions regarding local T&A
  • Manage reporting requirements from T&A sytem.
  • Assist in the application and interface change management as a result of configuration changes, upgrades, implementation new features etc.
  • Support testing activities as a result of local applications changes or release upgrades in collaboration with business partners.
  • Assist in the discussion of operational issues with the local country teams and agree on plan to get closure on open items.
  • Follow up & closure of issues and errors.
  • Maintains employees' work rosters in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensures compliance with policies and procedures and administrative directives related to time, attendance and leave

Period/Year End Close

  • Execute Weekly/Monthly Period Close, co ordinate and assist with calls to business.
  • Execute year end close process.

Compliance

  • Support internal audits, external audits (PwC), Pension audits and government audits.

Training & Stakeholder Management

  • Train employee/mangers, system users.
  • Engage with internal and external customers to meet service delivery requirements.
    Collaborate with local and regional stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Experience with T&A applications required.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • A clear, fast thinker, problem solver, able to translate business needs into pragmatic solutions and implement them
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact skillfully and confidently with internal stakeholders and colleagues to develop ideas, identify opportunities, and influence outcomes.
  • An effective team player, with developed communication and negotiation skills to focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with the Payroll process stakeholders
  • Able to work effectively in a multi-functional, multi-cultural environment and be open to change and the challenges that arise in a fast-moving environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to communicate with customers, peers, and vendors.
  • A sense of urgency in solving customer inquiries and requests to ensure timely resolution and an ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Highly motivated and self-directed
  • Ability to work efficiently and productively, independently or with minimal supervision.
