The entry level role will focus primarily on accounting for income taxes as governed by ASC 740. Candidate should have a general understanding of GAAP financial statements along with a strong work ethic and the ability to work in a dynamic environment. Assignments will include special projects that align with learning objectives and core responsibilities. In addition, the Tax Analyst will have the opportunity to work on tax compliance to develop a broad knowledge base that will support advancement opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review US GAAP quarterly and annual income tax provision calculations.
• Maintain the inventory of various tax attributes, including book\tax differences, Net Operating Losses, and Capital Loss Carryforwards.
• Compute provision to return adjustments.
• Prepare income tax footnotes and disclosures for 10Q and 10K filings.
• Assist with the preparation of journal entries for tax planning transactions.
• Adhere to quarterly and annual SOX procedures and control objectives.
• Identify process improvements by supporting automation and technology-related initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required, with intent to sit for the CPA
• Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow in role.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
• Ability to work well independently.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office
