Job description

We are looking for a Technical Trainer within Customer Training in our Customer Service Department. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Customer Service.

Key Elements of the Role:

Prepare and deliver technical training courses to customers (incl. LCC personnel, MSC personnel, etc.), on customer premises globally as well as inhouse in LCC

Develop training courses and material, as well as ‘on-demand’ courses, to meet customer needs

Evaluate and modernise existing training courses and material

Investigate and develop tools and packages to deliver training

Liaise with customers, to plan and execute training courses

Coordinate and supervise customers during visits to LCC

Liaise with internal departments to develop and maintain knowledge of products and gather content, keeping up to date on new developments

Promote and market Liebherr brand, products, and services

Establish new and develop existing relationships with customers

Work with Liebherr global network of Mixed Sales Companies (MSC) and Training Hubs to promote and develop business opportunities

Develop and maintain KPI and targets

Evaluate and monitor competition

Maintain a customer focused approach

Maintain accurate records for activity and work completed, to ensure deadlines are maintained

Ensure quality, environmental and Health & Safety standards are always maintained

Contribute to Continuous Improvement and Quality Management

Any other duties and tasks as may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications and Competencies:

Third level qualification, trade, or related discipline

Experience as a trainer an advantage

Self-motivated, with a good aptitude for technical concepts

Proficient IT skills, with a good working knowledge of MS Office, incl. Power Point

Excellent organisational and communication skills, verbal and written

Willingness to travel
