TEMP Contingent Staffing Recruiter

Pay: $65 per hour

The Contingent Staffing Recruiter is a long-term contract role and an important part of Regeneron’s non-employee staffing programs. You will partner directly with Hiring Managers and teams from across multiple business units (R&D, Clinical, Corporate Functions, etc.) to lead and manage various temporary, consultant and staff augmentation roles. This role will partner directly with our external approved staffing vendors / agencies and Non-Employee Management Organization (NEMO) as the project lead that delivers outstanding candidates and experiences across the entire span of a full-cycle recruitment program. This temporary role is open for hybrid work (2 days / wk.) at our HQ Campus in Sleepy Hollow, NY - this is not open to fully remote locations.

As a Contingent Staffing Recruiter, a typical day might include the following:

  • Leveraging partnerships with external staffing vendors and recruiting agencies to source, identify, qualify and deliver candidates for short-term / long-term temporary assignments across the HQ business groups.
  • Partnering with hiring managers to identify and clarify job specifications, recruitment timelines, talent planning and workforce solutions to support staff augmentation.
  • Managing candidate screening, assessments, and interview processes for all roles. Working with Administrative Assistants and Talent Acquisition Coordinators to ensure a smooth, efficient process that delivers outstanding experiences across the full spectrum of the candidate lifecycle
  • Establishing and building effective relationships across the business and within Talent Acquisition / HR as well as influencing recruitment processes and strategies.
  • Working with our Non-Employee Management Organization (NEMO) on onboarding / offboarding processes and supplier relations.
  • Tracking candidate activity within the WorkDay applicant tracking system (ATS); and engaging in interview processes, compensation negotiations and / or alternate recruiting methods to identify a diverse slate of candidates for your open requisitions.

  • You are adept at managing and motivating staffing agencies and recruitment vendors to deliver outstanding candidates in an efficient manner.
  • Are proficient at navigating multiple talent / HR platforms, digital & manual processes, and resources throughout the candidate lifecycle.
  • You are proactive and have phenomenal time management skills
  • You have the ability to learn quickly and are constantly curious, seeking out new ways of working
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication. Can provide detailed, insightful updates to candidates, colleagues, and business partners.
  • You have validated problem solving skills and can act independently to resolve ambiguous situation
  • You enjoy working in a collaborative, dynamic culture

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have a minimum Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources, Business or a related field. At least 5 years' of experience in Recruiting and/ or contingent staffing. Direct experience managing staffing vendors / processes within the Life Sciences industry is preferred. Experience working within Applicant Tracking Systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and enterprise HRIS systems. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook are needed.
