Red Canyon Software is looking for several Test & Verification integration engineers for Orion Displays and Controls (DAC) and/or Guidance, Navigation, Control and Propulsion (GNCP). This person will be responsible for developing test procedures, scripts and test tools for FSW verification, including execution of integration tests to validate hardware to software interfaces, software to software interfaces, and functionality. The job responsibilities include analyzing the hardware, software, and system requirements and implementation; developing and testing code utilizing Model Based Design approaches; establishing development and test tools; identifying and resolving anomalies during test on various software- and system-level platforms; identifying and implementing required software modifications and participating in technical reviews/audits of software products. The candidate will primarily provide hands-on development of verification success criteria and running Run for the Record in SOCRRATES and the Test Bed along with perform software engineering in all phases of the software lifecycle following the program Software Development Plan (SDP) to include requirements analysis, design, code & unit test, integration, and support to formal test / delivery for Orion Spacecraft flight software and spacecraft testing. The candidate will be required to work with flight software development peers, subject matter experts, database developers, and test engineers.

Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant technical field; or combination of relevant education/experience
- Python experience
- Verification and/or development experience
- Ability to work in fast paced environment
- Troubleshooting skills
- Position requires an understanding of full software lifecycle concepts including requirement definition and flow down, strong development skills and test concepts, and methodology.
Desired:
- Aerospace or Computer Science degree
- Degree in Aero, ME, EE, CEE, Computer Science or Science.
- Minimum 2-3 years experience developing or testing real-time embedded software;
- Experience with Hardware/software integration; Familiarity with spacecraft subsystems, hardware, telemetry, command & control;
- Toolset familiarity such as DOORS, Google Test, Python, Greenhills Integrity Operating System, Linux posix.
