Job description

We are assisting our client in searching for a Thrift Store Associate/Cashier. This position will sell merchandise to individuals in the store and showroom by performing the following duties.

Essential Functions:

• Assists customers with checkout and payment by ringing up purchases on the store’s POS system.
• Assist with daily cash reconciliation questions.
• Provide customer service assisting customers with purchases and questions.
• Assist in sorting donated items into correct categories (clothing, furniture, linens, etc.).
• Assist in pricing items and merchandising items according to standards.
• Work with volunteers and help with duties, as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be knowledgeable about the Catholic Church and support its moral and religious teachings.
