TIG Welder - Contract

Job Description

Advanced Solutions & Controls LLC is a UL listed and leading design and consulting firm specializing the Automation & Control Systems. We are looking for a TIG welder to support our manufacturing and production for 6-8 weeks. www.AS-Controls.com

· Full Time 40 Hour week, duration 6-8 weeks contract 1099.

· Paid weekly

·Potential of contract to permeant

· Monday – Thursday, 7am- 530pm.

Duties performed:

· Welding Duties:

-Setup and operate weld equipment

-Setup Jigs

-Complete welds

-Inspect welds for accuracy and quality

-Perform a variety of metal operations in finishing, aligning, repairing parts or
assemblies with or without the aid of jigs or fixtures.

· Weld components per drawing

· Complete daily time tickets

· Be able to move from one workstation to another as required

· Perform all other duties assigned or requested by the shop supervisors

· Maintain a safe, clean work environment

· Perform work with high quality.

· Help instill safety and positive practices and attitudes

· Experience with multiple hand tools.

· Occasional work in other departments of company

· Be willing to be flexible in work schedule and possible overtime

Minimum Requirements:

· Welding TIG and MIG experience (1 year min)

· Metal Working experience

· Ability to read Tap measure, general measurement hand tools

· Reading Blue/Print, Layout Dwg’s

-Marking up and making corrections when needed

· Communication with peers and management.

· Attention to detail.

· Knowledge in mechanical design

· Problem-solving skills.

· Ability to fabricate custom components while maintaining dimensional accuracy.

· Ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment.

· Lift up to 50 LBS.

Bonus Requirements:

· Experience with frame or chassis welding

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour

• Miamisburg, OH 45342: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
