We are looking for Training and Development Manager to join our Amazing Team.
Pool Troopers, LLC is a fast-growing, private-equity backed Pool Service Company, based in Tampa, Florida. Originally founded in 1952, Pool Troopers now has branches spanning Florida, Texas, Arizona, Georgia, and South Carolina.
The Training and Development Manager facilitates learning that addresses the needs of the organization. Interactive training experiences may be delivered in virtual and live settings. The day-to-day activities include creating, organizing, planning, and presenting various forms of system and skills training. A successful Training and Development Manager will build and maintain relationships, identify development opportunities, and provide exceptional service. This position reports to the VP of Human Resources and will be based in Tampa, FL.
Essential Job Functions:
- Experience delivering blended learning and interactive training based on health & safety in warehouse or logistic based environments, OSHA or forklift safety would be highly beneficial.
- Identifies development needs to drive training initiatives. such as those for quality, environmental and health and safety management.
- Create training schedules for all company departments, track and create reports on outcomes of all training and maintain training records for all employees.
- Train new hires on company policies and procedures and use the best training methods for a specific purpose and audience. Can include in-person training, web-based training, and video training.
- Assesses and communicates training needs for initial and refresher training to maintain compliance with Operating Requirements and other regulations.
- Consults on training needs in addition to identifying and communicating training objectives; assists in the development, modification and/or improvement of training programs.
- Be well versed in Learning Management System development, administration, and reporting.
- Maintains currency with LMS and recordkeeping requirements to maintain accurate, auditable records; provides data to satisfy audit requests.
- Attend seminars and meetings to learn new training methods and techniques to plan future training.
- Market company training opportunities to employees and provide information and career development through developed training programs.
- Recommend training materials, methods, and manage the budget set for training.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Communications, or related discipline.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of training experience in a fast-paced customer service environment with hourly associates.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication, multi-tasking, and presentation skills
- High level of interpersonal skills, creative ability, and visual graphics design ability
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and PowerPoint
- Strong coaching and leadership skills,
- Bilingual in Spanish

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
