Development includes a mix of instructor-led classroom training, self-study, and on-the-job experiences throughout major corporate lines of business including accounting, human resources, and information technology. Front line experiences with the Customer Care Center and Branches provide a solid foundation of how the business operates.
The program offers employment for a specific position with the Bank. Participants spend time in their role and complete rotations in several departments to gain an understanding of the overall bank operations, learn department interdependencies, develop and refine technical, leadership, and business skills focused on developing a well-rounded banking professional.

PRIMARY PURPOSE:
The Treasury Analyst – Analytics collaborates with Treasury team members, Deposit and Loan Operations, Information Technology, and other business partners to analyze data critical to the Bank’s Treasury functions, including deposit and loan behaviors, investment activities, etc. The Analyst will also define and create reports, visualizations, dashboards, and automate processes when possible.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct analysis on aspects of the Bank that impact key Treasury functions including:
- Deposit behavior by segment, including duration, sensitivity to market rates, organic growth, etc.
- Loan behavior by segment, including growth rates by product type, pricing trends, prepayment rates, etc.
- Competitor/industry research leveraging both public and non-public sources.
- Build meaningful reports, visualizations and dashboards for consumption by multiple stakeholders.
- Develop and automate distribution of Treasury department Key Performance Indicators in real-time in repeatable and reliable fashion.
- Enhance and operate key models used in:
- Liquidity forecasting and stress testing.
- Capital management.
- Interest Rate Risk.
- Develop knowledge of main data sources used within the business unit and effectively utilize these data sources for reporting purposes.
- Troubleshoot reporting and data quality issues by interacting with Data Quality and IT teams.
- Provide ongoing reports on the effects of different strategies and observes any trends or issues to raise with senior management.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Demonstrated proficiency in understanding business context and value derived from analytics, reports and dashboards.
- Robust analytics knowledge and excellent MS Office Suite skills (particularly MS Excel).
- Knowledge of market research techniques and methodologies and ability to apply same.
- Highly motivated and organized, with keen attention to detail, analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to quality check reports and dashboard data and business rules accuracy.
- Ability to quickly become familiar with the Bank’s data framework, and the sources and uses of data.
- Results-oriented, ability to work independently and efficiently.
Experience & Education
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in finance, accounting, computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related field.
- Internship experience as data analyst or related field preferred.
- Experience in banking environment a plus.
Internal and External Contacts
- Internal contact with department managers, other bank departments, and senior management.
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements
Office environment, with work-from-home a requirement for business continuity planning purposes. Ability to operate computer.
