C & R Concrete Corp is a concrete construction contractor servicing Hudson Valley N.Y., Bergen County N.J., and the surrounding areas. Our concrete construction projects consist of residential and commercial work. We are looking for a Pump Truck Operator/Driver to join our team.

Full Time - Pump Truck Operator Job Requirements:

CDL-A or B with a clean motor vehicle record (MVR).

Minimum experience: 3–5-year pump truck operator or experiance with cranes.

Must pass DOT physical (Medical Examiners Certificate), drug test and road test.

Ability to read and follow written instructions.

Ability to work independently, customer service skills, organizational skills, and a positive attitude.

Full attendance is expected and necessary function of the job

This position must follow all the Department of Transportation requirements and by the company’s safety regulations, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.

Major Responsibilities:

Must abide by all DOT and OSHA regulations

Completed OSHA 30-hour construction safety and health course

Follow appropriate safety procedures while driving trucks to destination and while operating pump

Before and after trip inspections of vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order, report to location manager if any issues are found.

Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles

Complete all miles and gas required logs per trip

Quarterly random alcohol and drug testing

Maintain cleanliness of the trucks, workshop, and garage
