People, Incorporated is seeking a creative and forward-thinking professional with demonstrated accomplishments to serve as the Vice President of Child and Community Partnerships.
SUMMARY: Employee is responsible for oversight and direction of People, Incorporated’s Children's Division and Community Partnerships.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Manage and oversee Division programs including but not limited to Diabetes Association, Early Intervention, Early Intervention Parenting Partnerships Program, Healthy Families, Welcome Family, Young Parents’ Learning Center, PI Preschool, Children’s Center, the Community Engagement Center and workforce development.
- Develop and manage programs as stated in strategic plan and supporting advocacy for families and the people we serve.
- Oversee Division grant writing to stabilize current programs and develop new programs with additional revenues.
- Direct and assure implementation of Division policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with VP of other divisions ensuring cross-divisional communication and developing program models.
- Create referral/access system within the division to promote ease of families being offered multiple services within the Agency.
- Oversee all division compliance and audits, including but not limited to NAEYC, Fall River CDA, DPH, DEEC
- Collaborate with area professionals and resources ensuring and enhancing quality of services.
- Develop program funding proposals and budgets, monitor spending, and recommend budget amendments.
- Submit all appropriate reports and statistical data as required.
- Supervise and evaluate direct reports, and support supervision and evaluation of their staff, focusing on service excellence.
- Serve as liaison in community promoting awareness and support of People, Incorporated.
- Participate as member of Executive Management Team.
- Respond to Division emergencies as needed after hours.
QUALIFICATION
- Master's Degree or higher preferred
- 10-15 years' experience in leadership in early childhood education, early intervention or other related children's program.
- Knowledge of social service programs for each population being served.
- Knowledge of government contracting processes.
- Skill in administration and/or supervision.
- Skill in serving as role model and leader within organizations and service communities.
- Skill in responding to Division emergencies.
- A qualifying criminal background check, driving record and a valid driver’s license required.
