Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining patient centered processes to ensure superior access to care and customer experience in Upper Chesapeake Medical Services provider network and employed practices. Serves as the primary administrative point of contact for over 200 employed providers (physicians and advanced practice providers). Works with providers and staff to appropriately capture billable opportunities, manage expenses with fiscal responsibility, and robustly promote services within the service area. Leads with integrity, enthusiasm and professionalism. Partners with University of Maryland Medical System colleagues to ensure the identification and implementation of operational and financial best practices and optimal patient facing policies and procedures.
Education: Master’s Degree in business or healthcare administration required.
Experience: Minimum of ten (10) years of management experience in a healthcare setting required (hospital and/or large practice administration experience strongly preferred). Superior working knowledge of the dynamics of healthcare finance, operations, and physician practice management required.
