Overview:
The Vice President of Talent Acquisition, as a key member of the HR Leadership Team, owns the development and execution of end-to-end TA strategy in support of Breakthru’s growth agenda and leads a centralized team dedicated to acquiring talent for the organization. This position reports to the EVP, Chief Human Resources Officer and works in close partnership with other HR leaders to ensure strategies are integrated between Talent Management, DE&I, Communications, and HR business partners. This role also owns the leveraging of technologies, partnerships, branding, and analytics to deliver business talent requirements.

Position can also be performed in Tampa, Ft. Lauderdale, Denver or NYC.
Responsibilities:
  • Build the TA structure and capabilities required to support Breakthru’s growth agenda.
  • Develop relationships with leaders at all levels in the organization, understand the business and the talent needs currently and for the future.
  • Develop and execute innovative strategies to quickly hire both high volume commercial and operations roles, specialized functional skill sets, and executive leadership roles.
  • In partnership with the VP Talent Management, build strategies to expand diverse candidate pools and pipeline of diverse candidates for key roles.
  • Drive the evolution of existing early career programs and expansion of early career commercial pipelines.
  • In partnership with Communications teams, deliver candidate branding activities aligned to BBG’s associate value proposition.
  • Manage core TA vendors to ensure maximized value creation from our technologies, advertising, branding, and sourcing.
  • Develop a set of key metrics for measuring effectiveness of talent acquisition process, technology, and people.
  • Other duties as assigned may also be required.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent training and work experience
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Talent-related Human Resources positions, with 5 years in Talent Acquisition functional leadership roles
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing TA strategy in alignment with business and people strategy. Experience leading a high-volume TA operation is essential.
  • Demonstrated experience in diversity recruiting, partnerships and programs.
  • Demonstrated experience as both a developer of talent and an inspirational leader who drives results and builds strong partnerships with HR and business leaders.
  • Demonstrated experience using analytics to drive decisions making
  • Deep understanding of TA and HRIS platforms and how to leverage technologies to drive efficiency and capture key data
  • Knowledge of relevant employment law and compliance issues related to the end-to-end TA process.
  • Advanced PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs including presentation software
  • Must be a results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as customer service skills
  • Utilize sound judgement and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume, team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in related field
  • Experience overseeing DOT hiring
