Job description
- The salary for this position is $200,000 - $250,000 / yr
- This is a Full-time position (Monday to Friday)
- Benefits are Competitive and Negotiable
Requirements:
- Master's degree in a related field is preferred
- Must have a strong knowledge of provider relations policies and procedures
- Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in Medicaid/Medicare, Managed Care
- Frequent independent judgments are essential
- Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Must have excellent analytical and organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Must demonstrate strong leadership skills
- Must have the ability to function effectively within an ever-changing environment to meet deadlines and re-prioritize as necessary
- Must have a professional level of knowledge in healthcare administration, finance, and clinical operations
Responsibilities:
- Manages effective execution of all managed care services throughout the organization, in line with strategic goals.
- Develops management information reports to analyze and evaluate the effectiveness and value outcome of all Managed Care Services.
- Review contract language, rate and fee proposals, complete market analysis comparisons and evaluate the proposal, and present to the company's senior leadership and membership
- Reports managed care cost containment results to the Administration team
- Investigates, develop and implements new managed care savings programs as appropriate.
- Assures all Managed Care Services (internal and external) are compliant with State and Federal regulations.
- Formulation of Budgets and Expense Management initiatives
- Assist in the development of an overall strategy for the managed care activities of the company
