Compensation and Benefits:
  • The salary for this position is $200,000 - $250,000 / yr
  • This is a Full-time position (Monday to Friday)
  • Benefits are Competitive and Negotiable

Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a related field is preferred
  • Must have a strong knowledge of provider relations policies and procedures
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in Medicaid/Medicare, Managed Care
  • Frequent independent judgments are essential
  • Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Must have excellent analytical and organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Must demonstrate strong leadership skills
  • Must have the ability to function effectively within an ever-changing environment to meet deadlines and re-prioritize as necessary
  • Must have a professional level of knowledge in healthcare administration, finance, and clinical operations

Responsibilities:
  • Manages effective execution of all managed care services throughout the organization, in line with strategic goals.
  • Develops management information reports to analyze and evaluate the effectiveness and value outcome of all Managed Care Services.
  • Review contract language, rate and fee proposals, complete market analysis comparisons and evaluate the proposal, and present to the company's senior leadership and membership
  • Reports managed care cost containment results to the Administration team
  • Investigates, develop and implements new managed care savings programs as appropriate.
  • Assures all Managed Care Services (internal and external) are compliant with State and Federal regulations.
  • Formulation of Budgets and Expense Management initiatives
  • Assist in the development of an overall strategy for the managed care activities of the company
