How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
This candidate will work primarily in the warehouse and will also assist customers in the branch for counter sales.
Warehouse Responsibilities:

Identifies, sorts, and prioritizes cylinders based on a daily production plan.

Safely loads / unloads compressed gas and liquid cylinders to and from shuttle vehicles.

Completes prefill inspection for daily production plans in accordance with Med Gas Manuals 1-5.

Reports any cylinder shortages or inventory discrepancies to supervisor.

Preforms daily housekeeping and contributes as directed to end of day shutdown procedures.

Removes labels, lot stickers, washes, paints, and preforms basic maintenance on cylinders as required.

Complies with all state and federal laws, regulations, and safety procedures.
Customer Counter Sales Responsibilities:
- Take customer orders and processing paperwork, to include:
- Daily input of invoices and the release of cash and charge registers,
- Daily deposits of cash receipts in the bank, monitoring accounts receivable and performing branch collection activities
- Daily transmission of branch purchase orders and delivery tickets for branch purchases to accounts payable for processing.
- Weekly monitoring of the open order reports and customer back orders.
- Resolving customer problems and complaints
- Providing price and delivery information to customers.
- Explaining products and product applications to customers
- Preparing customer quotations
- Preparing customer follow-up calls on: Quotes, Inquiries, Order status (back orders), Problems
- Responsible for maintaining appropriate records and reports, and to contribute and or communicate appropriate information to Account Managers and other employees within the company as appropriate or necessary.
Assist in warehousing activities as required, including, but not limited to:
- Receiving merchandise, processing inter-company transfers, stocking warehouse and showroom shelves, interacting with purchasing department to ensure stock levels are sufficient to meet customer needs.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and color vision.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- 2+ years of customer service experience
- Working experience with SAP and other computer order entry system.
- Computer proficiency with Word & Excel
- Frequent bending. Prolonged standing or sitting. Frequent finger manipulation required for typing, computer and/or calculator.
- Excellent customer service & communication skills
- Ability to work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, self-starter, self-motivated, sense of urgency, personable, extroverted personality, well organized, ability to achieve goals, ability to focus and pay attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of business English, spelling, and arithmetic; office practices and procedures; departmental rules and regulations.
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and to request clarification when needed.
- Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, rations, and proportions to practical solutions.
- Ability to read, speak, write, spell and understand the English language.
- Moderate work processing skills including windows.
- Ability to work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines.
- Must be able to work with a wide variety of people with different personalities and backgrounds.
- Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace.
