JOB DESCRIPTION

This role involves working in our busy warehouse with a number of duties listed below with the purpose of moving inventory and preparing customer orders in an efficient manner, with attention to detail and adhering to instruction in a safe and orderly manner.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Order picking
• Moving pallets and inventory within warehouse
• Loading inventory onto vehicles
• Maintaining all control documentation required in respect of warehouse operations
• Stock counts
• Unpacking, documenting and re-shelving returned and uplifted orders
• Liaison with sales order processing department, sales-team, customers and suppliers to deal with queries as they may arise
• Use of the Company’s computer systems to record information relating to warehouse operations
• Use of forklifts, pallet wrapping machines, power-trucks and other warehouse equipment required in respect of warehouse operations
• Maintaining housekeeping and hygiene standards within and around the warehouse
• Such other task as from time to time are advised by the Warehouse Supervisor or Head of Logistics

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Current Irish Forklift Licence as required depending on equipment
• Experience driving Forklifts in Ireland
• Experience working in an FMCG Warehouse
• Good English
• Manual Handling Certificate training
• Physical fitness is essential
• Punctual and professional
• Willing to work hard and flexible hours when needed
