Overview

Our client is seeking to recruit Warehouse Operatives based in Co. Roscommon.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for unloading of materials at point of receipt
• Responsible for the correct storage of all material and components into warehouse.
• Pick and issue weekly material requirements to production department to ensure ZERO downtime, utilizing SAP system
• Operator will be responsible for completing picks for customer deliveries for the company Europe Warehouse.
• Responsible for picking and scanning finished product ensuring all quantities, serial numbers and lot numbers match
• Responsible for packaging of finished product per standard packaging and dispatching per agreed schedule.
• Responsible for loading and unloading of goods.
• Complete regular cycle counts on Inventory stock as required.
• Ensuring reservation slips are completed correctly.
• Responsible for ensuring all safety practices are observed within the confines of the warehouse
• Responsible for ensuring warehouse is kept clean and tidy at all times following GMP guidelines
• Ensure weekly tasks like checking oil levels, managing waste disposal area are completed in a timely manner.
• Provide Shipping/warehouse support across all functions by cross training on key processes

Key Requirements

• Leaving certificate or equivalent is required
• IPICS qualification preferred
• Minimum of 1 year previous work experience in order processing, warehouse or logistics is essential
• Fork lift license is very desirable
• Strong in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Web Based applications. (Preferably SAP)
• Capable of multi-tasking and providing strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Previous experience in developing and working from Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
• Clear Thinker and External Focus as demonstrated strengths on prior job.
• Process focused and has proven record of resolving issue in a fast-paced environment.
• A strong team player that is willing to support fellow employees in meeting company’s goals and objectives
