Essential Duties Class III – Warehousemen (Including, but not limited to)


Responsibilities: Responsible for proper rotation of packaging and ingredients. Keep warehouse clean and any other areas assigned for housekeeping. Bale cardboard as necessary and assist general sanitation personnel on the weekends as assigned. Unload trucks as the receiving schedule indicates.

Essential Duties Class III – Warehousemen (Including, but not limited to)

  • Reviews the packaging schedule to determine the space required for that day’s production. Selects packaging for production runs as necessary.
  • Works with yard jockey directly to have trailers moved as necessary.
  • Places the pallets of packaging and ingredients in racks, records the quantity and rack location. Counts packaging and ingredients as required by purchasing clerk.
  • Counts incoming packaging and ingredients to assure accuracy on bill of lading.
  • Waters batteries in forklifts and pallet jacks as necessary.
  • Completes all sanitation duties assigned for weekend completion.
  • Completes any and all duties as directed by Supervision.
  • Operates the fork truck in a safe manner. Follows all safety rules for fork truck operation. This includes wearing the seat belt and performing fork lift operator’s pre shift inspection.
  • Places product in racks in an organized manner.
  • Consolidates and rotates pallets to permit the oldest products in the cooler to ship first.
  • Rotates stock to allow oldest inventory to be utilized first.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Aware of all safety procedures.
  • Aware of and wears all personal protective equipment.
  • Follows GMP and PMO regulations and guidelines.
  • Can properly fill out all required documentation.
  • Has a complete understanding of the schedule.
  • Must be capable of adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing.
