The Role

• Responsible for content and HTML updates for the client’s websites within the Drupal content management system.
• Define and maintain the character of the websites in line with market growth and regional focus to manage and maintain all permutations of content.
• Partner with business partners to drive traffic to the web pages and using exceptionally strong knowledge of SEO.
• Content-based UX is essential to focus on the providing the best experience for the end user and anticipate what the audience wants to see and how they want to see it.
• Maximise accessibility to ensure the sites are ADA and legally compliant.
• Consider the most effective ways for users to interact with a site, and the choices they make align with client’s brand and voice.
• Advise on best practices and provide solutions when the business requires it.
• Communicate effectively with the development teams using your familiarity of technologies such as Drupal, CSS, HTML, WCM, to provide the best outcomes for the site.
• Influence strategic decisions that are made by acting as a consultant between content marketing and digital marketing.
• Travel to the US may be required.

Your Profile
Your skills/knowledge:

• Understanding of web technologies and the digital environment, including content management systems (Drupal, IBM WCM, SharePoint, WordPress).
• Ability to adapt resource materials into layouts and pages using framework best practices.
• Practical knowledge of accessibility compliance.
• Understanding of best practice in user experience.
• Understanding of multimedia content including the use of video and images online.
• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Adobe Dreamweaver.
• Strong understanding of how to interpret metrics and insights to inform the development of effective digital communications.
• Technical and design knowledge.

Experience Required

• BA in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field.
• Proven experience in working alongside a development team to troubleshoot issues and perform QA and UAT.
• Expert knowledge of web design layout, and HTML and CSS.
