The Robotics Institute at Carnegie Mellon University was established in 1979 to conduct basic and applied research in robotics technologies relevant to industrial and societal tasks. Seeking to combine the practical and the theoretical, we have diversified efforts and approaches to robotics science while retaining the original goal of realizing the potential of the robotics field.

Carnegie Mellon University’s Robotics Institute is searching for a Webmaster. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in an interesting and challenging work environment.
Job Functions:
  • Create a website for a research group to have a unified format for all of the current research projects and the members of the group (10-15 people).
  • Coordinate and collaborate with the members of the group to collect up-to-date information on their research projects, publication, and code repository.
  • Update various channels to share our research activities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Design/art background is preferred.
  • Repository maintenance, e.g., github
Required Skillsets
  • Track record of website design experience, e.g., a portfolio or links to prior works
  • Excellent speaking/writing communication skills (links to sample writings, e.g., blog posts)
  • Time management skills to meet milestones and deadlines
Nice-to-have Skillsets
  • Experience working with research environments and fast-pacing projects
