We are hiring a Website Content Manager who will work to create, maintain, and optimize web experiences for our client Microsoft, in support of their modern life brands of devices and software. This is a 100% remote role.


Our Website Content Manager is responsible for sourcing, creating, implementing, and maintaining best-in-class strategies relevant to the overall commercial business and specific to individual project objectives.


The ideal candidate is a proactive and collaborative team player who can easily build strong partnerships with a large team in constant motion. They should be comfortable facilitating between Site Managers, Product Marketing, external agencies, and production teams and maintaining critical project deadlines, including coordinating receipt of assets, delegating production, conducting client reviews, and scheduling publishing. They should be able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, dynamic cross-functional team, have a critical eye for detail, and be a champion for quality execution across every task on a global scale.


Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with integrated marketing and content teams to keep commercial websites optimized, current, relevant, and aligned with marketing editorial calendars and objectives.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to collect editorial calendars, set prioritization, and manage communications, priorities, and approvals.
  • Steward all new and existing content, ensuring best-in-class assets and compliance from privacy, brand, accessibility, and third-party retail aggregation vendors.
  • Manage images, specifications, and global purchase funnels workflow, ensuring accessibility compliance and planning.
  • Manage website content sourcing and execution, including developing and tracking device content plans and deliverables.
  • Gain a complete understanding of the web channel, its goals, objectives, impacts, and KPIs to support driving key business objectives.
  • Work closely with partner agencies to manage and collaborate on a single aligned project timeline.
  • Troubleshoot content issues and identify, escalate, communicate, and resolve project issues/blockers as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular QA (pre-release and post-release) of new and updated content across commercial websites.
  • Apply own knowledge and experiences to improve content quality, delivery timelines, QA processes, and ongoing content management to drive greater business impact.
  • Actively be a web team member and support global strategy, site vision, and KPIs.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of digital marketing and/or B2B/e-commerce experience in a Content Management, Producer, or Project Management role, preferably in an agency or in-house team.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously amid ambiguity and in a highly collaborative organization.
  • Fluent with Adobe Experience Manager.
  • Strong understanding of website user experience.
  • Proven experience delivering large-volume projects on time and to spec.
  • Proven organizational and planning skills and must be detail-oriented.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft 365: Office, Excel, PPT, Teams, and other Microsoft tools.
  • Working knowledge of SEO and website accessibility best practices.
  • Experience with Omniture and/or Adobe Analytics.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with HTML and copy editing.

TGD is currently working remotely during the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, we are a Washington State-based company. Therefore, this role must reside in Washington State and/or be willing to relocate to the Greater Seattle Area once we return to work or an evolved hybrid model.
