The Early Bird Eatery is a modern American brunch spot in downtown South Bend, IN. We serve good food, made from scratch and are looking for a passionate and experienced Dishwasher to join our team. Preferred candidates will be enthusiastic about food and have a great attention to detail. Experience working in a fast-paced environment is a must. The Dishwasher role is a vital part of the operation, setting the pace in the kitchen and ensuring that everyone has what they need to do their job.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

• Ensures dishes, glassware and utensils are sanitized clean, spot-free and available as needed.
• Maintains daily cleanliness and maintenance of dish machine.
• Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner in accordance with established company policies to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
• Assist in cleaning and sanitizing production equipment, work surfaces and kitchen (including storage areas and coolers).
• Keeps the kitchen clean by sweeping and mopping floors and emptying trash.
• Complete opening and closing duties as assigned
• Assists other team members when needed.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.

REQUIRED WORK HABITS:

• Work habits include regular attendance, team work, initiative, dependability, positive attitude and promptness
• Ability to work flexible schedule to include early mornings, weekends, and holidays

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
