Sonas Technical have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Mild Steel Fabricator to join one of the South East’s leading suppliers of specialized engineering products and services to a variety of sectors, including food processing, pharmaceutical, telecommunications and related sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabrication of mild steel, and general welding duties.
• Ability to problem solve and be able to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• Be able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Quality Control – Self inspect components in accordance with company QMS requirements.
• Quality Control – Carry out final inspection of manufactured components as defined by the Production Manager.
• Ensure Company Health & Safety requirements are adhered to during all operations, including housekeeping, PPE requirements and machinery operations within the company.

Key Requirements:

• Must have completed Fabrication apprenticeship
• 5+ years welding or fabrication experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry
• Team player with the ability to interact and communicate with colleagues at all levels
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines
• Self-motivating
• Attention to detail is essential
• Ability to work on own initiative

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: €16.50 p/h – €17.50 p/h (Depending on experience)
