Job description

This position assists in the daily care of elderly residents in a assisted living/ memory care facility. Resident Care Assistants (RCA) participate in the overall care of residents inlcuding all activites of daily living for all residents and giving feedback to leadership about individual plans of care. They are responsible for assisting with the physical, social and emotional well being of residents.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in personal care tasks including transferring, bathing, dressing and grooming patients.
• Assist in meal time feeding to promote a postive nutritional health.
• Maintain a respectful attitude towards residents, families and colleagues.
• Resolve residents' concerns within the scope of your authority.
• Demonstrate empathy toward residents and families in a thoughtful manner.
• Establish effective working relationships with residents, families, co-workers and supervisory personnel.
• Consistently follow protocols for infection control, medication administration and patient confidentiality.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.50 - $16.00 per hour
