Job description

A Los Angeles talent agency is seeking a full time accounting assistant to join their team. This role requires a true love of detail and organization, along with a good sense of humor & patience to deal with those not accounting minded.

Responsibilities:

-Accounts receivables & collections
-Process & post client payments
-Assist with invoicing as needed.
-Support & communicate with artists, clients & staff as needed
-Perform & assist with other duties & projects as needed

Qualifications:

-Excellent written & verbal communication skills
-Superior attention to detail with ability to work independently
-Able to multitask & shift gears in a fast paced, high pressure environment
-Accounting experience strongly preferred but not required
-Experience with Quickbooks required (experience with Sage Intaact a plus)
-Experience in Microsoft Office applications required

Note - While the corporate office is located in Los Angeles, all accounting is handled in Simi Valley in a small, casual, pet friendly environment. Specific work schedule has some flexibility.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
