About the Role

We’re looking for someone to help us realise the Outmin vision to remove the pain of running finance and admin for small businesses worldwide. In this role, you will work to rapidly deliver flawless data to our customers to improve their day-to-day decision-making. Collaborate closely with an energetic and supportive accounting team to solve complex issues. In this role, you will also work with a software team to improve your workflow and system tools every week. You will gain a variety of experiences while working towards your ACCA /ACA qualifications.

What You'll Do

This is a challenging position that facilitates entry into the digital economy and the future of the accounting industry.
In this role, you will undertake a variety of tasks but are not limited to the following:


  • Process all documents uploaded by clients (invoices, bank statements, expenses)
  • Liaise with clients as directed by the accounts team
  • Payroll processing
  • VAT preparation
  • Account reconciliations
  • Liaise with accounting agents for complex documents
  • Liaise with the product and software development teams to optimise your workflow on an ongoing basis

What We’re Looking For

Must Have:

  • 3+ years of book-keeping experience
  • Experience with VAT returns, Payroll & Reconciliations
  • Working towards an accounting qualification (ACCA or equivalent)
  • Comfortable using modern online productivity tools such as Google Drive and Sheets
  • The ability to work as part of a team or on your own
  • The capacity to work at a high level under pressure and the ability to meet deadlines to the standard required
  • Honesty and discretion as you will be handling confidential information
  • A methodical, thorough and analytical approach.
Nice to have:
  • Prior experience with an accounting practice
  • Min 1 years experience in Irish book-keeping
  • Strong math and English skills
  • A genuine interest in business and finance.
  • Experience in multiple accounting territories/countries
  • Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
  • The ability to clearly communicate system optimisations to cross-functional teams (eg. engineering team)
