Education Administrative Assistant
Triumph Head Start and Early Head Start Programs in Taunton is seeking a passionate administrative professional to join our team. Job Description:
The Education Administrative Assistant will provide direct administrative and clerical support to the Education Manager and content area staff. Assist with effective internal and external communications, data entry, creating reports, publications, & presentations, assist with facilitating education programming events, preparing for regulatory visits, ordering supplies, creating programming materials, organizing content area meetings, assist with unifying education collaborations with Enrollment, Mental Health, Disabilities, Family Services and other program components

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Provide direct administrative and clerical support to the Education content area as directed
  • Organize and help facilitate education programming events and activities
  • Assist the Education Manager in devising and implementing effective internal and external communication systems

Requirements:
  • Minimum of an Associate Degree in a related field
  • Experience in an early childhood educational setting helpful
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Familiarity with online applications, data systems, e-mail, and other relevant technology
  • Must be able to work sensitively and effectively with individuals of diverse socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds and varying physical and emotional abilities
  • Possess a general knowledge of Early Childhood Education and/or Head Start objectives and philosophy

Benefits & Compensation

Salary range starts at $18.17-$23.20 dependent on experience

40 hours per week, M-F, 52 weeks per year
