DESCRIPTION

The Insurance Analyst function at Trane Technologies is doing its part in helping the company continue along its path of continuous improvement by providing innovative solutions to mitigate and/or transfer risk and protect the company’s physical and financial assets. The Insurance Analyst has responsibility for providing support for risk management and insurance activities to insure a cost-effective program for Trane Technologies global operations. The Risk Management function is a key resource in advising Trane Technologies businesses on the identification and management of operational risk exposures. As such, the Insurance Analyst must develop strong internal and external relationships to be effective.

The position will report to the Director - Risk Management.

LOCATION

• The position will be Hybrid and located at Trane Technologies Davidson NC domestic headquarters campus as part of the Corporate Treasury Department.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITY

• Assist Insurance Managers in preparing annual accrual and financial summaries for Corporate Accounting working with outside actuary
• Oversee the Surety Bond issuance program including invoicing and cancellations
• Maintain correct claim coding structure for Auto, General Liability and Workers’ Compensation claims
• Compile and analyze underwriting data for domestic and global insurance programs
• Assist Director on project specific loss reports for SBU and Corporate needs
• Maintain Risk Management SharePoint portal with updated insurance data
• Communicate effectively with insurers, brokers and claim adjusters on all claim issues
• Maintain 3rd party Exigis database information and responsibilities
• Assist Domestic Manager with claim handling responsibilities
• Manage all IR Certificate of Insurance responsibility, insurance ID Cards in the U.S
• Manage and maintain all Monopolistic states Workers Compensation requirements
• Perform contract review for Surety and leases

SPECIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• 3+ years industry experience with the technical aspects of risk management, insurance and claims
• Strong computer systems and spreadsheet capabilities
• Ability to develop and communicate effective presentations
• Ability to understand legal concepts and review basic contract obligations
• Ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities

COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

• Motivation, good communication and team building skills are critical to success
• Claim background in Workers Compensation, General and Auto Liability claims.

EDUCATION

• Four-year undergraduate degree
• CPCU or ARM designation preferred

Base Pay Range: $52,000-108,000
