This 108,000 sq. ft. facility was designed to serve as a hub for community interaction and growth through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. We are searching for a dynamic Associate Executive Director to round out a strong team and expand our impact in this thriving community.
The Old Colony YMCA Stoughton Branch is an $8+ million dollar operation with 30 full time staff and 200 part time staff serving the communities in this area. The Associate Executive Director, will work as a team with the Vice President/Executive Director to provide leadership and direction for all branch functions.
A successful Associate Executive Director will have a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university, four or more years’ experience in management with direct supervision of multiple levels of a diversified workforce. Looking for accomplishments in leadership of staff development, fundraising, program planning and innovation, budget development and management of fiscal control systems, financial development, strategic planning and community development. Must demonstrate excellent organization, computer, written and verbal communication skills. Excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skills to problem solve. YMCA multi-team or branch leader certification preferred.
Core Responsibilities:
Support and lead branch directors in the successful management of their teams in all departments: membership, health & wellness, programming, camp, aquatics, and out-of-school time
· Assist the Executive Director in strategic development and implementation of programs and services to meet community needs
· Provide leadership to all aspects of program operations including staff development, training, planning, fiscal development/management, program administration, and human resource management.
· Provide the highest quality in programs and services for members, parents, and program participants. Instill and model the highest quality of customer service.
· Increase participation by continuing to add activities that our members need and want
· Increase revenue through better onboarding processes and program development
· Strengthen and cultivate relationships to assist with branch fundraising goals.
· Monitor monthly financial reports to assure that revenue targets are met and expenses are controlled.
· Must have the ability to develop and strengthen community relationships.
