The Minnesota Orchestra is currently searching for Bartenders. A Bartender at the Minnesota Orchestra is a key role on the audience services team, providing beverage services to guests at Orchestra Hall and helping to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.

Key Accountabilities:
- Maintain and utilize complete and current information concerning Orchestra Hall products, services, facilities, policies and procedures.
- Mix and serve alcoholic and other beverages at Orchestra Hall bars.
- Set up, maintain and clean bar before and after each concert or event.
- Adhere to city, state and federal regulations regarding checking proper identification for proof of age in purchasing or consuming alcoholic beverages, legal and responsible consumption of alcoholic beverages and providing tip declarations as required by federal guidelines.
- Handle emergencies in accordance with emergency procedures
- Utilize information concerning Orchestra Hall products, services, facilities, policies and procedures.
- Uphold the Audience Services department standards of service – advocacy, efficiency and courtesy.
Work shifts may vary and typically consist of the following:
- Evening Performances: Monday - Friday
- Daytime and Evening Performances on Saturday and Sunday
- Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to count and make change, use cash registers.
- Ability to work independently while being a team player with co-workers.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
Education and Experience
- 1-2 years previous bartending experience.
- Previous customer service experience.
- Bartender certificate and TIPS training.
