Basic Grade Physiotherapist
Children’s Disability Network Team
x1 Full Time Permanent Post
(Newly qualified candidates will be considered)
This is an exciting opportunity for a Basic Grade Physiotherapist to support children and their families, presenting with complex needs arising from a disability.
This permanent post is assigned to the Coastal Children’s Disability Network Team. This CDNT covers the catchment of Howth, Malahide, Portmarnock, Baldoyle and Sutton, as well as supporting a Special School for children with profound and multiple disability.
CDNT- Coastal
CDNM- Aoife Quinn
Office base- St. Michael’s House, Baldoyle
Therapy space- St. Michael’s House, Baldoyle
The successful candidate must have the following:
Essential Criteria
- Bachelor or Masters Degree in Physiotherapy accredited by the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists.
- Fully registered or registration in process with CORU.
- Excellent communication and time management skills and the ability to work in a self directed manner.
- Ability to work with complex cases as part of a team.
- Committed to the delivery of quality, family-centred, community-based services
- Evidence of a commitment to continuous professional development (CPD) in the relevant area.
Desirable Criteria
- Post qualification or clinical placement experience working with children with complex needs arising from a disability.
- Full clean driving licence and use of a car.
A panel will be created for future employment opportunities, across the 4 St Michael’s House Children’s Disability Network Teams.
There may be opportunity for part time posts to share a full time post if interested parties are successful.
