BMC’s dynamic corporate teams are strategic and trusted advisors to the global organization supporting, enhancing, and driving BMC’s vision, culture, growth, and so much more. Each individual within the corporate teams is a valued partner to the overarching success of BMC’s employees and customers.
We are looking to fill a new leadership role, reporting to the vice president of Brand and Corporate Communications (BCC). The Brand Director will be a critical, cross-functional leader who leads BMC brand efforts that reinforce BMC messages and positioning.
The Brand Director will be the company lead in bringing a refreshed brand narrative to life and creating excitement for the new look, feel, and tone of BMC. They will lead the efforts across teams in BMC branding to create consistency, alignment, and a cohesive feel across all executions through a brand structure and system to shape audience perceptions and reinforce our values. The success of this role will be measured in qualitative feedback and quantitative adoption and utility metrics that influence marketing and communications impact on perception and demand creation. - Be the company lead in working with external agencies to shape the BMC brand system.
- Develop the BMC brand architecture to support corporate, product, recruitment, and special initiatives.
- Develop and socialize the BMC brand system internally and with partner organizations to generate excitement and drive adoption for consistent branding.
- Support all areas of the business in using and applying the BMC brand system consistently.
- Manage BMC brand marketing initiatives and programs.
- Guide and manage a talented brand team to their full potential.

- You are a creative and skilled storyteller with a vision to make things happen.
- You are an imaginative problem-solver and the ability to implement ideas into practice.
- Strong process-orientation to support an aligned brand system.
- You have solid project and program management skills to define needs, evaluate KPIs, and ensure successful execution.
- You have the financial acumen to manage a budget that supports the organization’s branding and creative needs.
- You have team leadership and management with 15+ years of relevant experience mentoring and developing talented professionals.
