Job description
We are currently inviting applications for a Breakfast Chef de Partie to join our Kitchen team. Breakfast is a cook to order, a la carte service & room service service.
We cater for up to 180 guests each day and Breakfast Service is between 7.30 am and 10.30 am. Breakfast chefs are also responsible for the staff food preparation and may be required to assist with early afternoon lounge service. The kitchen department have a team of highly skilled qualified Chefs offering cuisine from fine dining in the Falls Restaurant to casual options and afternoon tea in the Sheen lounge area.
This is a great opportunity to grow & develop a career. As part of your duties, you will be required to:
- Maintaining high standards of food preparation and service of the breakfast service.
- Be aware of all food preparation standards and that they are met at all times.
- Ensure that food that is prepared and presented is of high quality.
- Ensure food safety guidelines & HACCP are maintained and monitored.
- Assist in other sections of the Kitchen as required.
This is a full-time position and is on a rostered basis, which includes weekends and evening shifts.
