Job Summary:

Restocks and replenishes food service supplies; assists wait staff; and clears, cleans and resets tables.

Job Duties:

• Greets guests as appropriate after they are seated. Serves water, rolls, and condiments. Accommodates guest requests for additional condiments, food items or fresh dinnerware. • Removes dirty dishes, glassware and silverware from guest tables between courses and after guests leave the table. Replaces used dishes, glassware and silverware and resets vacated tables. • Returns dishes, glassware and silverware to dishwashing area, sorting all items as appropriate. • Ensures tables, chairs, and floor areas surrounding table are clean and clear of debris and crumbs. • Sweeps restaurant floors throughout shift to maintain a clean, presentable and attractive restaurant. Vacuums carpeting and mops hard floors at the end of each shift. • Adheres to all hotel safety and security policies and procedures as outlined by hotel standards and Federal, State and Local laws. • Maintains superior standards of quality, service, and cleanliness in the restaurant and service area. Consistently maintains a neat, organized and clean workspace and uniform. • Maintains a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all time. • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred. • Basic knowledge of restaurant operations desirable. • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
