Minnesota Millwork & Fixture is the industry leader with over 30-years of experience serving the hospitality, restaurant, entertainment, and retail sectors. We manufacture commercial casework, millwork, tables, upholstered seating, and metal. We design and build custom products for restaurants, banks, clinics, and hotels. Our customer portfolio includes Melting Pot, Outback Steakhouse, Olive Garden, and Bowlero.

We are currently seeking a full-time Cabinet Maker. Qualified applicants must have experience operating standard woodworking equipment, the ability to read blueprints, and be reliable, hardworking, and self-motivated individuals. Experience using a variety of power tools, good attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Assembling commercial grade cabinets
  • Follows guidelines to build and assemble various items including cabinets, countertops, fixtures, and components
  • Utilizes shop drawings to properly build cabinetry, countertops, fixtures, and components
  • Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the individual work area and certain common areas
  • Assists in hardware installation as required
  • Provides assistance to other team members as needed
  • Ability to lift and/or carry objects weighing 50 lbs.
  • Standing and bending for prolonged periods of time: at least 8 hours per day
Education and Experience:
  • 2+ years of related experience
  • Prior commercial millwork experience is a plus
  • Possess mechanical aptitude and can use hand tools to read blueprints and measurement instruments.
  • Possess basic knowledge and skill in the use of a computer
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
  • Attention to detail & experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude and self-motivated
  • Ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
Physical Demands of Job:
  • Ability to lift and/or carry objects weighing 50 lbs.
  • Occasional lifting of up to seventy pounds (assisted)
  • Standing and bending for prolonged periods of time: 10 hours per day
  • Color vision is the ability to identify and distinguish colors
  • Possess the manual dexterity to assemble parts and components.
